Every day in Bangladesh’s busy cities, thousands of packages move from shops to homes in a new, smarter way. Behind this change, a man plays an important role—Biplob Ghosh Rahul, who turned a simple idea into eCourier, Bangladesh’s first digital delivery service. His story shows how one person’s drive and creative thinking can change the way things work for millions of people.

Biplob’s journey into logistics began unexpectedly. He developed a software solution for Sundarban Courier Service to help them digitize, but when they rejected it, he saw an opportunity. Instead of giving up, he launched eCourier in 2014, using the very technology he had created. What started with just two bicycles has now grown into a nationwide logistics powerhouse.

Today, eCourier processes around 30,000 orders daily and operates in all 64 districts of Bangladesh. Unlike traditional courier services, it introduced a seamless digital platform where customers can book deliveries, track shipments in real-time, and handle payments with ease. This innovation has made eCourier a game-changer, especially for e-commerce businesses.

Beyond efficiency, Biplob prioritized sustainability by pioneering bicycle deliveries, reducing fuel consumption and environmental impact. His influence extends further—he serves as Director of BASIS, a founding member of eCab, and National Vice President of JCI Bangladesh, advocating for digital commerce and entrepreneurship.

His contributions have earned him awards like Bangladesh’s Best Digital Entrepreneur (2020) and the ‘Uddokta’ Award. Looking ahead, Biplob envisions AI-driven solutions making eCourier even smarter, ensuring Bangladesh’s logistics sector stays ahead of global trends.
