From a Small Startup to a Global Enterprise

Founding & Early Challenges (2008–2011): Founded in Dhaka in September 2008 by 25-year-old Hasnaeen Rizvi Rahman after leaving Sweden. After losing its primary American client in 2011 (threatening ~15 jobs), Rahman pitched nearly 1,000 potential clients over two months, a defining crisis that taught the company crucial lessons in client diversification.

Recognition & Early Expansion (2013–2018): Astha IT won the BASIS Outsourcing Award for Best Outsourcing Organization in 2013 and 2014. It subsequently formed global partnerships (such as SuperGeeks and SaaS Ventures), expanded into the domestic enterprise market, and built a cloud-based microservices platform by July 2018.
Scaling & Global Footprint (2018–2023): Transitioning from founder-led execution to specialized leadership, the company grew from ~40 employees in 2018 to around 200 by 2023. It won the BASIS Export Excellence Award in 2020, opened a Stockholm branch in 2021, obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2022, and relocated its corporate headquarters to the United States in August 2023.

Investment & Regional Growth (2024): Secured a multimillion-dollar investment from Fakir Fashion Limited in June 2024, developed the Smart Access Management System (SAMS) for the Payra Port Authority in July 2024, partnered with GeoTech in Saudi Arabia in September 2024, and surpassed 500 employees by December 2024.
Rebranding & The AI Era (2025–2026): In April 2025, the company officially rebranded to AIT (headquartered in New York, with its website at ait.inc). By 2026, it featured over 500 engineers, an AWS partnership, ISO certifications, and launched AI-driven products like Docomate.ai alongside its internal learning platform Upskill.

The Bangladesh-to-US Connection: AIT successfully links Bangladesh’s engineering talent pool with Western enterprise markets. While its corporate headquarters is in the U.S. with expansions in Europe and the Middle East, Bangladesh remains its central engineering delivery hub, proving a Bangladeshi-founded company can scale globally without abandoning its operational roots. System (SAMS) for the Payra Port Authority (July 2024), expanded into Saudi Arabia via a partnership with GeoTech (September 2024), and surpassed 500 employees by December 2024.

Employment & Sector Impact: AIT has generated hundreds of specialized jobs in software engineering, cloud computing, and quality assurance. By moving from basic outsourcing into advanced AI, data engineering, and proprietary products like Docomate.ai, it elevates local tech careers, builds future talent through initiatives like Upskill, and reinforces Bangladesh’s international reputation as a competitive tech exporter.
