Through Ignite Global Foundation, established on February 2, 2016, Islam has worked to improve the lives of underprivileged communities across Bangladesh, focusing on education, youth development, disaster resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and access to safe drinking water.

Under his leadership, the foundation has reached nearly one million people through various social initiatives. More than 1,200 students have received free education through Ignite School, with 155 currently enrolled. The organization also provides speech and occupational therapy services for children with special needs.

IGF’s Shabolombi initiative has supported 158 families in achieving greater financial independence, while its safe drinking water projects have benefited more than 50,000 people.

A Journey of Recognition and Leadership

Islam’s dedication to social change has earned him several national and international honors, including the President Scout Award (2013), UN Best Volunteer Group Award (2019), Diana Award (2020), JCI Young Entrepreneur Award (2022), and ILA 30 Under 30 (2025).

Beyond his humanitarian efforts, he is the author of three books—Aviation Career, Way to Success, and Student Startup. He also serves as a Director of Matribhumi Group and holds leadership positions at Matribhumi Heart Care and Matribhumi Tours & Travels Ltd.

Receiving the TOYP 2026 Award marks another milestone in his journey of social entrepreneurship and youth empowerment.

Expressing gratitude to JCI Bangladesh, his family, the IGF team, volunteers, and supporters, Islam reaffirmed his commitment to creating lasting, positive change in communities across Bangladesh.
