Sanjida Tasnim is a model and actress of this generation. She transitioned from ramp modeling to acting and has already worked in several dramas, establishing her presence in the industry. She gained notable attention for her performance in the popular web series Cactus, which was directed by Shihab Shaheen. In addition, she has also acted in a government-funded film.
Her media journey began purely as a hobby. As a ninth grader, she first appeared in front of the camera performing a dance on NTV. Later, she participated in the reality show Star Hunt on Dipto TV and became one of the three finalists, an experience that inspired her to pursue acting seriously.
Regarding her career, Sanjida Tasnim said, “Ramp modeling gave me confidence. But acting capturing the emotions of a character and delivering dialogues is a completely different challenge.” She focuses on quality work and aims to establish herself on the big screen through OTT platforms.
Last Eid, she appeared in the seven-episode series Kulin Samachar on Channel i, directed by Salauddin Lavlu, which also drew attention to her performance.
Sanjida completed her studies in Sylhet and later moved to Dhaka to study Fashion Designing at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. She has mentioned that if she hadn’t entered the media industry, she might have lived abroad and eventually started her own clothing brand after returning to Bangladesh.
